The Department of Mathematics offers a variety of interdisciplinary accelerated 5-year BS/MS programs. Transition to the graduate program happens during the fourth year.<br>Your Akron Guarantee Scholarship can be used in the first four years to cover both undergraduate and graduate expenses, and the department has graduate assistantships available for the 5th year.<br>Coursework will prepare you for graduate school or fields such as as engineering, physics, computer technology, business, law, medicine and the social sciences.<br>B.S./M.S. Program in Mathematics this accelerated option enables you to earn bachelor's and master's degrees in five years.
