Certified, translated copies of all transcripts, mark sheets, and diplomas from your school. Mississippi State recommends all school credentials from non-U.S. institutions be submitted through a National Association of Credential Evaluation Services member (NACES member agency, https://www.naces.org/members) for a course-by-course evaluation with grade point average calculation. MSU's preferred transcript evaluation service is TEC or MyIEE.
An official ACT score of 20 or higher, or SAT score of 1030 (only if your GPA is below 3.0 based on our evaluation of your transcripts OR if you are applying for scholarships).
International undergraduate students applying to Mississippi State University must demonstrate English language proficiency in order to register for academic courses. The following methods of a demonstration are approved:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): minimum band score of 6.0.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): minimum 525 for paper-based test, 197 for computer-based test, and 71 for Internet-based test
English portion of the ACT: minimum 19.

The Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Management provides students with a solid foundation upon which to build a career as a manager or entrepreneur. Management and entrepreneurship are critical to the future of commerce in the United States and other nations around the world. Managers devise business strategies, formulate policies and direct the operations of a business, while entrepreneurs take the initiative to explore business opportunities and start new business ventures.<br><br>The management major offers students flexibility to pursue specific interests. For example, after taking required courses in Principles of Management/ Production, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior and Entrepreneurship, students can choose advanced electives that allow further specialized knowledge. The capstone courses (a) Business Policy and (b) Management Seminartaken by graduating seniorsallow students to integrate and apply the theory learned in specialized courses. Overall, the Management major is designed to offer students a competitive edge in leading established and new business ventures.
