Meet the minimum requirement of 2.0 cumulative High School Grade Point Average or higher (on a 4.0 scale) for consideration.
EMU uses a test-optional admissions model for first-year admission.
A student with a cumulative high school GPA of 2.75 or higher will not be required to submit a standardized test score.
A student with a cumulative high school GPA of 2.5-2.74 will be considered test-optional. Upon review of application and academic history, standardized test scores may be requested if required.
At student with a cumulative high school of 2.49 and below will be required to submit a test score.

Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance students acquire the knowledge and skills to analyze financial data and use financial concepts to value financial and real assets and to help individuals and companies make decisions about allocating scarce resources. Students can develop their expertise in various areas, including corporate finance, banking, investments, and international finance. The general requirements for the bachelor of business administration degree, the academic major requirements below, and sufficient electives to meet the minimum of 120 hours that must be completed for graduation. A degree in finance offers a diverse set of opportunities working for various types of organizations: for-profit corporations, non-profit corporations, and local and federal government agencies. Finance majors generally begin their careers as Financial Analysts, Budget Analysts, Treasury Analysts, Credit Analysts, Bank Auditors, Loan Officers, Investment Advisors, Stockbrokers, and more. Demand for financial professionals continues to grow and is one of the fastest-growing occupations, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
