Students enrolling in graduate programs must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States, or an equivalent degree granted by an institution in another country (as determined by the Office of Graduate Admission).
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Suffolk welcomes both the TOEFL iBT and TOEFL Essentials. To be considered for full admission, a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 80, with no subscore lower than 17, or a minimal TOEFL Essentials overall band score of 8.5, with no subsection below 8, is required. Suffolk University's code for TOEFL test scores is 3771.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS). A minimum score of 6.5 (with no subscore below 6.0) is required to be considered for full admission.

This dual-degree option combines finance and accounting in an expedited program geared to get you ready for the CPA and CFA exams.<br>In as few as 16 months, this unique dual-degree program not only prepares you for leadership roles in accounting and finance but it also gets you ready for the CPA and CFA exams. The curriculum addresses concepts in a global context, while emphasizing the topic matters necessary to sit for the CPA exam, the FRM exam and level one of the CFA exam in Massachusetts. As a graduate, youll be well-prepared for a career in accounting areas, such as public accounting, corporate or not-for-profit controllership, as well as finance areas, such as corporate finance, financial technology, investments and risk management.<br>Suffolk's Master of Science in Finance degree is one of the only programs in New England that's a member of both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute University Affiliation Program and a Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) Academic Partner. It is also a STEM Designated program. Suffolk's Master of Science in Accounting degree meets the educational requirements for students to take the CPA exam in Massachusetts. Youll also take courses that integrate Becker's CPA Exam Review Course, giving you supplemental material to help you ace your classes while also preparing you for success on the CPA exam.
