They serve as advisors, analysts, auditors, and chief financial officers, charting the course of Fortune 500 firms. They're ambitious entrepreneurs who start their own practices or become partners at international accounting firms. Depending on your interests and goals, you can pursue a general accounting degree or choose the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure program, which requires additional coursework and allows you to sit for the CPA exam in New York and other states.
