会计理学硕士（MSA​​）是一个10门课程，30个学分的学位课程。这10门课程由“会计要求”，“会计选修课”和“顶岗”课程组成。根据对成绩单的审查，必须通过先前的相关课程工作来满足或放弃四（4）门必修课。<br> UMass Boston的会计理学硕士旨在为学生做好准备，以帮助他们在迅速发展和变化的会计领域中奖励职业。完成MSA后，学生将有资格参加统一注册公共会计（CPA）考试。该课程由管理会计和金融学院（AF）的教职员工与AF部门的咨询委员会协商后设计
The Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) program at UMass Boston provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the accounting profession. Students in the program learn the latest in accounting theory and practice from experienced faculty, and gain practical experience through internships and case studies. Graduates of the program will qualify for the Uniform Certified Public Accounting (CPA) Exam, and leave prepared to pursue a variety of career paths in accounting, including public accounting, corporate accounting, and government accounting.<br><br>In the MSA with UMass Boston, you will:<br><br>Achieve proficiency with respect to the functional or technical knowledge and skills required for professional accounting careers<br>Gain knowledge and skills regarding professional integrity and ethics<br>Gain problem identification and solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills<br>Gain proficiency in the communications, teamwork and leadership skills required for professional accounting<br><br>Our MS in Accounting program is now STEM designated:<br><br>In a fast-changing world of AI and Big Data, our rigorous curriculum trains and develops MSA students into an expert in Data Analytics with accounting and financial statement information<br>International students will have 3 years of OPT visa after graduation, allowing more flexibility in job searching and career opportunities
