Curricula of the School of Business Administration are designed both for those who plan to operate their own businesses and for those who plan to occupy responsible positions in business organizations. The managerial finance curriculum provides students with exposure to financial institutions, corporate financial decision making, and investment markets. Students develop a sufficient background in finance for employment in the public or private sector. A variety of courses are available for students to develop knowledge and skills in investments and corporate finance.From Wall Street to the kitchen table, companies and individuals manage assets in a fast-paced economy where risks and opportunities thrive. Ole Miss Managerial Finance students learn to build corporate balance sheets and investment portfolios that weather market downturns and shine during expansions.<br><br>A Managerial Finance degree combines business, accounting, technology and statistics. The major uses real world case studies to teach students to think critically about current market trends, challenge the mainstream view, and learn to find opportunity where others see risk.Managerial Finance majors graduate from Ole Miss with the skills to pursue careers in corporate finance, asset management, investment banking and financial planning.Managerial Finance majors will spend time in class addressing real world problems. Students will learn about the daily issues faced by corporate and investment professionals and will work through them using case studies and real world data.
