Tally up the assets of the business administration accounting major diploma.<br><br>During your first year youll build basic business skills. In your second youll take specialized courses including:<br><br>managerial and cost accounting<br>financial management<br>business law and statistics<br>All your courses will develop your technical accounting skills and expertise.<br><br>Start building industry connections and get real-world experience between first and second year. The 16-week practicum is optional, but another asset.<br><br>If an accounting designation is your goal, this diploma is a starting point. Your courses are on the pathway to a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.<br><br>If you want a degree, you don't have to leave Lakeland. Our partnership with Athabasca University gives you two options:<br><br>Bachelor of Management is an extra year.<br>Stay for two years, and earn a Bachelor of Commerce.
