Fanshawe’s four-year Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources Management) degree program will provide you knowledge of business basics such as accounting, marketing and computer applications. As well, you’ll specialize and focus your skills in human resources management courses, including performance management, human resources planning, talent acquisition, employee and labour relations and compensation and benefits administration.<br>A requirement for graduation is the completion of a paid Co-operative Education work term. This process combines your studies with paid, related work experience. Fanshawe will be there to help you find the right business fit for your dream. You’ll have access to consultants who will deliver classes, counsel and advise you as you move from the classroom to the real business world.<br>Upon graduating from this human resources degree, you may be eligible to complete a Master’s degree program at many other post-secondary institutions or complement your degree with a graduate certificate offered by Fanshawe. This program includes all nine credits required for the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designations from the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA). You may also have the required knowledge to pursue industry designation(s). Professional designations often require two or more years of relevant work experience, or the writing of an exam, in addition to completing your academic studies.
