Have a four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution
Be in good academic standing at the last college or university attended
Have satisfied one of the following conditions:
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 in all undergraduate units
Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 in the last 60 semester/90 quarter units from all post-secondary institutions
Hold an acceptable post-baccalaureate degree earned at a regionally accredited institution and:
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 in all units attempted as an undergraduate, or
Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 in the last 60 semester/90 quarter units attempted from all post-secondary institutions attended.
All OFFICIAL transcripts for any college or university courses you have completed in original language of issue. Your records must include official verification of degree completion.
Official English translations of all academic records.

Submit a Personal Statement describing:
How your professional, academic or personal background fits well with the M.S. in Taxation program at CSUN.
How an M.S. in Taxation will assist you to advance in your career.
Submit a resume
Submit original or certified copies of all academic transcripts.
Submit two letters of recommendation from previous professors or supervisors.
Successfully complete an introduction to federal income taxation course and a financial accounting course from an accredited institution.
The GMAT or GRE is not required for applicants with a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants with an overall GPA lower than 3.0 are not required to take the GMAT/GRE if they they have the CPA credential or Enrolled Agent credential.

课程简介
This innovative, 19-month graduate-degree program is designed for midcareer professionals and prepares participants for careers or career advancement as professional tax advisors and consultants in public accounting, industry, government and private practice. The program integrates theory and practice throughout the curriculum. For example, students have the option at the end of their program to participate in the Bookstein Institute's Tax Challenge Project, Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, VITA Clinic, Community Outreach Tax Clinic, or the student-run Tax Development Journal. Each of these opportunities serves to integrate the material learned in the program as well as to provide students with a unique opportunity to gain valuable practical experience.
