课程简介
The MAcc program provides candidates with greater breadth and depth of knowledge in accountancy than is possible in the baccalaureate program. The program is designed to meet the increasing needs of business, government, and public accounting. Students entering the MAcc program must already have completed an undergraduate accounting degree from a regionally accredited school in the United States. The program may also be structured to satisfy the requirements to sit for the CPA examination in Florida.<br>The Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy MAcc program currently offers four concentrations: assurance, corporate, taxation and forensic accounting. The assurance concentration courses are primarily taught by faculty at the Tampa campus. The forensic concentration courses are primarily taught by faculty at the St. Petersburg campus. Although courses for the corporate and taxation concentrations are taught by faculty at both campuses, for those classes that are not administered in an online format, students may need to commute between locations, depending on course offerings each semester. Candidates are encouraged to select a primary campus when applying for the program based on the campus of the faculty from which they anticipate taking the majority of their classes. However, MAcc students will enjoy the flexibility of taking courses taught by faculty from the Tampa and St. Petersburg campuses as course offerings permit.
