Students whose first language is not English may be required to demonstrate English proficiency by one of the following means:
Proving youre from a country where English is the only official language
Establishing that a prior bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree was earned from another accredited institution of higher education (meeting university transfer eligibility requirements) in the United States
Establishing that a prior bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree was earned from a country where English is the only official language or from a university at which English is the only official language of instruction
Submitting a qualifying score (220 or higher for computer-based, 80 or higher for internet-based or 550 or higher for paper-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or a score of 6.5 or higher on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
A minimum 520 EBRW rSAT score, 480 Critical Reading SAT score, 20 ACT (English section), or 42 CLT (Verbal Reasoning plus Grammar/Writing)
Presenting a minimum grade of B in both English Composition I and English Composition II, or the equivalent, taken at another accredited institution of higher education (meeting university transfer eligibility requirements) in the United States
Completion of four years of English in an American high school in the United States

The BA in Nonprofit Management degree at UCF helps you learn the fundamental elements of how nonprofit organizations operate. The program provides an in-depth look at two critical elements of nonprofits: fiscal resources and human (people) resources. Both are necessary for organizations to provide intended services to their community.<br><br>As a nonprofit major, youll gain a well-rounded approach that provides you with the skills and knowledge required to support nonprofit organizations in a variety of capacities. Classes are offered fully online, mixed-mode, and at UCF Downtown, making it easy to select class options that work for your schedule. Youll also get first-hand experience working with a nonprofit organization through your required internship course. This allows you to learn what it takes to succeed in the industry while making connections along the way. The UCF School of Public Administration also coordinates an annual nonprofit conference that provides you with additional opportunities to directly interact with nonprofit leaders around the region and country.
