Western Michigan University School of Medicine (WMed) and the Haworth College of Business of Western Michigan University (HCoB) cooperate in the delivery of a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Business Administration (Healthcare concentration) degree in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Both WMed and HCoB offer their existing MD and MBA degrees independently and cooperate in a manner that will permit eligible students in HCoB's MBA program to incorporate coursework from WMed's MD program. Applicants for the dual-degree program must meet all admission requirements and standards of WMed for the MD degree, and all admission requirements and standards of the Haworth College of Business for the MBA degree. Applicants for the dual-degree program may apply at the time of their initial application to WMed, or may apply after acceptance to the School of Medicine by the end of year 2 of the MD program. Applicants may apply to the dual-degree program through the Early Decision Program of the School of Medicine, and will be notified of the school's admission decision by October 1.
