Two semesters (or three quarters) of college-level calculus.
One course in linear algebra or matrix methods.
A basic knowledge of computer programing is not required for admission but must be acquired before starting the program. Examples of programming languages include: C, Cplus plus, Java, Matlab, Python, R, Ruby, SAS or Visual Basic.
To apply you will be asked to provide the following information
Resume
Ensure your resume clearly lists the dates of any professional (ex: full-time role, internships, co-ops), volunteer, non-profit or any other leadership experiences. There is no formatting requirement, however, please review your resume for any grammar mistakes. It should be no longer than two pages.
Transcript
You must have a U.S. bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, or the international equivalent, by the time of application. You can submit an unofficial copy of all of your undergraduate and graduate transcripts (and degree documents, if applicable) with your application, but official transcripts will be required if youre accepted.
Essays
Please complete the following prompts:
Describe a situation in your life in which you have failed to achieve a goal. What did you learn from this experience? (Max. 400 words)
You just entered the elevator with a member of the Applicant Review Committee for the MS in Business Analytics. You can only speak to this person for a very short time on the elevator. What would you say to this individual so that they would look favorably upon your application? (Max. 250 words)
Letters of Recommendation
Please select two recommenders who will be able to discuss your professional performance, academic performance and work style. This can include previous supervisors, faculty members or mentors. Letters of recommendations must come directly from the listed recommender on your application.
Standardized Tests
Test scores provide a measure of your capabilities for the admissions committee to consider in reviewing your application holistically. The admissions committee accepts the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and Graduate Record Examination (GRE) test scores.
Waivers are considered on a case-by-case basis and must meet one or more of the following criteria:
You have completed a graduate degree in a relevant field.
You have graduated or will have graduated with a bachelor's degree from a United States AACSB-accredited business school with a 3.5 or higher GPA by the start of the program.
You have 4plus years of relevant work history.
Interview
Students are required to complete a virtual interview via the Kira Talent platform. The interview format consists of multiple mini-interviews (MMI).
TOEFL - 95, IELTS - 6.5
Any student with a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, regardless of field of study, is eligible to apply for admission to a Lindner graduate program. Applicants should have at least a B grade average (3.0 GPA or equivalent) in relevant undergraduate coursework, or otherwise show evidence of promise satisfactory to the admitting department. Applications are reviewed in a holistic manner, carefully considering your entire application portfolio.

Financial aid is available in the form of scholarships and assistantships and is awarded on a competitive basis.<br><br>Lindner's Master of Science in Business Analytics program provides you with expertise in descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics. This program begins in August and classes are offered full- or part-time. Full-time students typically complete the program in nine months or one year. Classes are available in the late afternoon, evening and Saturday for part-time students.
