All applicants to UIS are required to submit official transcripts from all of the institutions they have attended Applicants who attended a high school university or college outside of the United States must have their credentials evaluated as part of their application.
First-year applicants This application is for students who have completed high school or secondary school but have not yet completed any university level coursework Applicants are applying for a bachelors degree program Admission for first-year applicants will be based on -
College preparatory curricula and academic coursework.
Grade point average GPA on a US 4.0 equivalency scale.
Personal statement.

The Business Administration Comprehensive concentration provides students a deep understanding of important business skills including leadership, problem solving and analytical skills. The comprehensive concentration blends business functional areas including finance, operations, management and marketing.<br><br>The comprehensive curriculum acknowledges the impact of increasing globalization and technological advances in the marketplace and prepares students to compete in this rapidly changing environment.<br><br>Specific objectives are to:<br><br>build advanced competencies in critical and ethical thinking<br>to enable students to gain a broad comprehensive understanding of business. Graduates will leave UIS highly qualified for managerial positions in a variety of industries spanning both the public and private sectors.<br><br>By the time you graduate, you will have met the following goals and objectives:<br><br>Be able to demonstrate knowledge of key concepts in the major business disciplines -- accounting, economics, management, marketing, finance, information systems, and the legal and social environment of business.<br>Be able to systematically analyze a business problem by effectively examining alternatives and recommending an appropriate course of action.<br>Be able to communicate effectively in written and oral forms.
