Basic requirements for admission as an international student to a bachelor's degree program include the following:
Completion of formal secondary education in a pre-university curriculum.
Completion must include the awarding of a diploma or the issuance of a leaving certificate or matriculation certificate generally recognized as the educational qualification necessary for admission to higher studies.
English language ability at a level sufficient to undertake a full course of study.

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Testing (ACT) scores (if applicable).
International students are not required to provide an ACT or SAT score, but they may use the ACT or SAT to satisfy English language proficiency requirements.

As an economist, youll learn how to use economic analysis as a major tool in reaching independent, well-considered judgments. Develop an understanding of a private enterprise economy, economic analysis, and economic principles of business administration. Our curriculum is for students interested in economics with a broad background in business. All economics programs require at least 30 hours of economics, which cover principles and advanced microeconomic and macroeconomic theory. In addition, business economics requires business core courses that prepare you to help firms and organizations understand and adapt to a changing economic environment. This major also prepares you for graduate study in economics, law school, MBA programs, and public policy programs, as well as for business careers in financial service industries and similar positions.<br><br>Economics majors are prepared to play significant roles in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, banking and investment, retailing, and consulting. Economics majors interested in the impact of changes in public policy are employed by government and nonprofit agencies such as the Federal Reserve banks, while those interested in applying economic concepts to private sector issues often work for consulting firms.
