All first-year applicants are required to submit the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR). Once your application is submitted and processed, you will be able to access your SRAR through the Application Status Check portal.
All high school transcripts must be sent directly to Northeastern by your high school by the application deadline. Any transcripts sent by you, your family or an independent educational consultant will not be accepted.
First-year applicants must provide a transcript which includes final grades from grades 9, 10, and 11 (or the international equivalents).
190 to 202 on either C1 Advanced (CAE) or C2 Proficiency (CPE)
130 to 145 on the Duolingo English Test (DET)
7.0 to 8.0 on the IELTS Academic
68 to 81 on the PTE Academic
99 to 112 on TOEFL Internet-Based Test (Northeastern will accept either the in-person iBT completed in a test center, or the online iBT Home Edition. Northeastern's TOEFL Code is 3667.)

As your first year draws to a close, you'll take an important professional step and declare a concentration in at least one of our principal fields of business. A marketing concentration will prepare you for a promising career in areas such as brand and product management, digital marketing, marketing research, marketing communications, and sales and account management.<br><br>Product design, research, pricing, packaging, transportation, advertising, selling, and servicing: marketing impacts every one of these essential aspects of business. In your coursework, you'll develop a deep understanding of the role marketers play in business and gain detailed insight into various aspects of marketing processes such as strategy, buyer behavior, market research and analytics, digital and mobile media, marketing communications, sales, services, and new product development. You'll explore the changing economic, political, legal, ethical, and cultural contexts in which marketing strategies must be developed.Aspiring marketers at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business have an opportunity to learn how brands, customers, and organizations impact business performance and society by creating, communicating, and delivering value to customers. The concentration embraces an approach that is analytical, creative, and practice oriented. Students receive instruction from award-winning research and teaching faculty who share their knowledge to help empower the next generation of marketing leaders.<br><br>The concentration in marketing encourages students to examine marketing as a driver of business growth, while considering the ethical and sustainable practices that are necessary for business and societal benefit.<br><br>The building blocks of the marketing concentration require courses in marketing research or analysis of customer data followed by a tailored set of electives to suit different student goals and interests. The concentration aims to prepare students with the knowledge and skills to pursue careers in a broad range of professional settings including, but not limited to, digital marketing management, social media marketing, marketing analysis, data analysis, marketing consulting, UX design, content strategy, consumer insights analysis, sales management, and product and brand management.
