Employers are looking for skilled and adaptable students who can keep up with technological developments.<br><br>Start studying towards a career in accounting starting with the first step towards becoming a chartered accountant.<br><br>You'll gain practical skills using real-life situations for processing financial transactions, applying accounting concepts to financial statements and reports, preparing budgets and monitoring business performance, financial decision making, application of tax rules to small business and individuals, evaluating and determining financial risk and act in accordance with the accounting profession’s Code of Ethics.<br><br>Once you complete your New Zealand Diploma in Business (Level 5) (strand in accounting), you can continue study and gain your certification to be a Chartered Accountant by completing the CPA approved Bachelor of Applied Management (strand in accounting). <br><br>This course is offered through a combination of on-campus tutorials, online activities and self-directed learning.
