We welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully.Normally IELTS 6.0 with no individual element below 5.5, or equivalent recognised Secure English Language Test, (SELT).TOEFL IBT: 79 overall including minimum listening - 17, reading - 18, writing - 17, speaking - 20.

In recent years the nature of fraud has changed and the impact of information technology means that there are now opportunities to commit fraud that did not exist in the past.This exciting new programme aims to fill a gap where professional financial fraud is examined from different viewpoints including financial fraud, accounting fraud and banking fraud. It will provide students with an understanding of what motivates fraud and how to detect it. You will not only obtain theoretical skills, you will also obtain practical skills and an awareness of the limitations of the theory that you are being taught.Highly industry-focussed, the programme culminates in the Industry Collaboration Project. You will choose one of four options to look at a real industry problem and provide researched solutions, helping you put your learning into practice.<br><br>The programme is block delivered and there are several entry points throughout the year. You will take the modules below in a sequence dependent on your start date.The course is delivered in four 30 credit blocks of intensive study periods. For each block, you will study a single module for a six-week period. Face-to-face teaching is delivered on campus for six hours each week. In addition, you will attend the taught element of the Industry Collaboration Project one afternoon a week during the six-week blocks.The Industry Collaboration Project (ICP) module accounts for the final 60 credits of your degree. You will have the opportunity to select between a live project, placement, internship or dissertation, all of which are designed to accommodate your career aspirations and enhance your professional experience.You will be allocated a supervisor who will mentor you through the ICP. You will also have the opportunity to engage with the Student Hub and askUS. askUS can help with pre project/placement support for students and opportunities for those going on placement to participate in training workshops to ensure best practice. The Student Hub can help you to find internships, placements and live projects for your Industry Collaboration Project.<br><br>This course will provide students with a unique set of skills and insights to develop subsequent careers in fraud management. Graduates will be able to work in different sectors across the whole economy ranging from accounting firms, legal firms, information technology firms, banks, insurance companies etc. They will also have the option of working in the treasuries and accounting departments of other firms.
