国际学生入学条件
Admission to the programme shall be subject to the approval of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Commerce).
Every applicant must either
- be a graduate, and normally have achieved an average grade of B in the papers satisfying the final year major subject requirements of the degree, or
- have equivalent alternative qualifications or experience acceptable to the Pro-Vice- Chancellor (Commerce).
English language requirements
- IELTS (Academic module) (including IELTS Online) - Overall score of 6.5, no individual band below 6.0.
- TOEFL iBT - Overall score of 90 and a writing score of 21.
- C1 Advanced (previously Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE)) or C2 Proficiency (previously Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE)) - Overall score of 176 (with no individual band below 169).
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic - Overall score of 58 with no communicative skills score below 50.
- Language Cert - International ESOL: C1 Expert (LRWS) with a high pass overall and no less than a pass in each skill OR C2 Mastery (LRWS) with a pass overall and no less than a pass in each skill.
- NZCEL - NZCEL 5 Academic endorsement
- English New Zealand's Accredited Pathway Assessment - Assessment Level 3 (with no skill lower than Level 2).
- APIEL Advanced Placement International English Language Examination - Grade 4 or higher.

The Master of Tourism (MTour) is a degree that can be completed in a 12 month period, starting either in February (semester 1) or July (semester 2). It is an interdisciplinary programme that mixes cutting edge taught courses with independent research. The programme deals with core, contemporary, and emerging issues and is taught by some of the leading tourism, leisure, and hospitality researchers in the world.<br>The programme is designed to act as a means of enhancing the knowledge and skills of students seeking or wishing to enhance a career in the tourism industry or related areas and as a foundation for students seeking entry to a PhD programme.<br>Graduates of the MTour will have a detailed and high level critical understanding of tourism, and related areas, as both an industry and social phenomenon. They will also have a detailed and advanced grounding in pertinent research and presentation skills that enable them to actively participate in the tourism industry, associated governmental and non-governmental institutions, andor academia to become the leaders of tomorrow.
