You can make an important and positive impact on how an organisation, recruits, rewards, develops and champions their staff.In this course, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of the key principles and practices of managing people and organisations. To do this, you will explore topics such as organisational behaviour, team building, managing diversity, organisational structure, and human resource management.Throughout your study of human resource management you will be equipped with technology augmented knowledge and learning. You will develop critical thinking skills and technical capabilities for delivering organisational performance through people in the real world.Real-world learning is embedded in this course. Right from the start of your very first semester, you will have the opportunity to learn from real-world academics who are actively engaged in the industry and prominent human resource management professionals who frequently deliver guest lectures in our classes.As part of our Work Integrated Learning program, you'll also have the opportunity to complete professional work placements in consultancies, corporate settings, government, and community groups.
