Academic requirements for this program are outlined below. In addition, to be eligible for admission, all applicants need to satisfy the Minimum University Admission Requirements outlined. These include those relating to minimum age and English Language Proficiency. We also consider your application more broadly your non-academic achievements such as any previous leadership roles, volunteering, work, church and or community involvement as well as personal qualities - your aspirations and interests and your capacity to complete your chosen program. Successful completion of the Notre Dame Tertiary Pathway Program TPP or a tertiary preparation program from another institution that is deemed to be of a similar academic rigour to the Notre Dame TPP. Applicants who have successfully completed subjects at another University, which are relevant to the selected program of study, may be eligible for credit Advanced Standing

If you enjoy working with people to help them achieve their best, the Bachelor of Human Resource Management degree at The University of Notre Dame Australia will give you the skills and knowledge you need to thrive in the business world. Our 3-year degree is designed to be taken full-time or the equivalent part-time and will give you a thorough grounding in business skills alongside more specific topics dealing with human resource management. As a student at our School of Business, you will also benefit from our job-focussed approach, which includes regular guest speakers, field trips and internships at leading companies. You will study subjects such as Human Resource Development, Change Management, Mediation and Dispute Resolution and develop the skills necessary to work in the field of human resources. As part of your degree, you will be required to undertake 150 hours of practical experience in the workplace these placements are a significant preparation for your life after university. Human Resource Management can be studied as a stand-alone degree or as part of a Bachelor of Commerce. Graduates are accredited with the Australian Human Resources Institution and often gain employment in private enterprises, government agencies and the not-for-profit sector.
