All Foundation Studies students are required to be:

At least 16 years of age at the time of commencement
High-achieving secondary students in their countries of origin
Planning to study a specific course at the University of Melbourne or another university in Australia or overseas.

English language requirements:

IELTS: 6.0 (No band less than 5.5)
TOEFL IBT: 70 (18 Writing)
Pearson: 50 (42 Writing)
