This degree is designed for those with a drive to succeed in business, with a practical focus, and a flexible structure. Students can choose from a range of majors and elective modules, and will gain a broad range of business skills, as well as specialist skills and work experience in their chosen major. In their first year, students will complete the eight core modules required for this Applied Management degree. These will give students the important broad skills they'll need to excel in any area of business. For the second year students will take three modules for their Event Management major, choose three other modules, which can be toward a second major, as well as two more core modules – Applied Management and Research Methodology. In the third year students will study two more Event Management modules and two other modules toward a second major. Students will also apply their skill on work placement with a local business.
