This unique major has been designed to meet industry needs: upskilling you in the latest information technology tools, issues faced by businesses today and the leadership skills to manage these effectively. Management involves both being able to work independently and make management decisions, but also being able to work with and direct teams of people. Those people could be within your organisation, or external clients and stakeholders. The Master of Management study programme works with you to help develop these skills as well as specialist business capability in your endorsement of choice. The Organisational Technology Management major has been developed in conjunction with industry, which identified the need for managers in an IT environment to have not only fundamental technical capability, but great management and communication skills. The Master of Management works to give you those skills, ultimately contributing to your employability. It is a relevant, contemporary qualification, with a unique core of courses that focus on the key business skills of communication, understanding current issues in business and on the fundamentals of organisational technology management. This gives you a solid platform of knowledge to build on in your particular areas of interest.
