Applicants requiring RPL/RPEL will be mapped against the equivalent of an LJMU DipHE in Nautical Science or
Maritime Business Management:
Mature entry
The award of credits via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning
(RPEL) will be assessed on an individual basis.
Overseas qualifications
An equivalent to year two of a British degree in a relevant subject.
Where English is not the applicant's first language, an IELTS score of 6.0 should have been achieved within the
two years prior to the application for the programme. (Other internationally recognised English Language tests
may also be considered.)
