Exploring both areas, youll look at the business environment inside and out, from the psychology of managing people to how the economic, social, technological and political climate can shape different sectors. In the first year, youll study each subject equally. Then, in your second year, youll have the flexibility to shape your learning around your interests.<br><br>By studying the business units of this degree, youll develop skills in all areas of business and make informed decisions about strategy and operations. Your studies will draw on disciplines including business planning strategy, creative thinking, accounting and finance, leadership, marketing and data analysis. By studying the human resource management units, youll focus on how leaders develop and motivate their employees. Youll learn to deal with a vast range of business-critical issues like redundancy, maternity leave, rewards and more. Budding entrepreneurs also have the chance to take part in business and enterprise competitions, to unleash your inner Richard Branson with the support of our Innospace graduate incubator and business start-up unit.
