Please note this is for entry into the third year of the BA (Hons) Global Management (Marketing) degree. This degree is designed for students who already have an existing qualification in a business-related discipline and want to build upon their skills and knowledge in a specialist area of business and management. You will join the final year of this degree, focusing your studies on your chosen pathway. This flexible structure enables you to develop specialist skills in marketing, as well as build upon the general business knowledge that you gained from your prior qualifications.<br><br>The global marketplace is constantly being reshaped by new technologies, emerging trends and shifting audiences. In order to compete in this environment, you'll need to develop innovative and flexible strategies that meet the ever-changing demands. This pathway focuses on marketing theory and practice – helping you to grow into a media-savvy marketer with the confidence to respond to rapid market changes, develop integrated strategies, build creative campaigns and convert targets into leads while managing teams across the globe. You'll examine current debates, such as the extent to which big data will replace traditional data collection methods and start to think from a marketing communications (marcomms) perspective – developing new campaign objectives and crafting effective messages, supported by independent research and competitor analysis. Practical, experience-based simulations and challenges with industry experts will expose you to real-world business issues and prepare you with the hands-on experience needed to develop and launch a luxury enterprise. You'll have the option to undertake an independent placement or enterprise project to gain further industry experience, or you can study abroad for a term at one of Regent's international partners to broaden your understanding of management and enterprise in a global context. You'll also have the opportunity to learn a new language – preparing you to work in an international arena.
