If you love fashion, and how it relates to media, lifestyle and consumer culture, then this Fashion Promotion degree will put you at the cutting-edge of one of the UK's most vibrant and dynamic creative sectors. The Fashion Promotion degree at our USW Cardiff campus explores the latest trends and concept-led areas of fashion such as photography, styling, film, creative direction, magazine design, and social media. You will gain the skills for a career in the fashion industry, and develop the creative and technical ability to produce original visual and textual materials promoted across integrated media platforms. Students are encouraged to collaborate with their peers from other courses at the Cardiff campus, and they also have the opportunity take part in live projects with established fashion, media and retail brands. Additional practical experience and insider knowledge can be gained through short internships or a 12-month work placement can be chosen at the end of the second year. Previous Fashion Promotion students and graduates have worked with brand such as Topshop, Mulberry, MAC, Next, Hussein Chalayan, Matthew Williamson and Harvey Nicholls.
