Tariff points: 112 GCSE: For all applicants, Grade C/4 or above in English Language and Mathematics, or equivalent. Please note the University does not accept Level 2 Key Skills, Functional Skills or Certificates in Adult Numeracy and Literacy as suitable alternatives to GCSEs. A-level subjects: No specific subjects needed. You can include points from A-Level General Studies and AS-Level subjects (not taken onto full A-Level) towards overall tariff. You must have at least two A-Levels. Baccalaureate IB: No specific subjects required. We recognise the individual nature of each application and our typical offer should be viewed as a guide. UWE Bristol welcomes interest from applicants who may not have the standard entry requirements. We will consider evidence of your relevant personal, professional or educational experience where it demonstrates an ability and potential to succeed on the course. Please include details of any relevant experience in your application.
IELTS- Overall score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component
TOEFL iBT- Overall score of 80 or above, including a minimum of 17 in Listening and Writing, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking.

Marketing communication management is a dynamic field that includes a range of disciplines. Online and offline channels include advertising, digital marketing, public relations, direct marketing, design and sales promotion. Businesses need managers with a broad understanding of these fields, who can co-ordinate them on a strategic level. To be successful in this field, you must be analytical yet highly creative. You should be a strategic thinker with the ability to communicate ideas to clients and colleagues. In your first year, you'll develop a mini agency with its own brand, digital media presence, print materials and strategy based on what you've learned in tutorials. It's ideal if you want a focused, hands-on approach to the creative and strategic aspects of marketing. Class-based activities focus on developing your marketing knowledge through challenges and problem solving. You prepare for these sessions using videos, case studies, quizzes and research, so your contact time is always interactive and engaging. Three years full- time, Four years sandwich.
