A gateway to professional status, our popular Property and Real Estate course is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), so you will be educated to the highest industry standards.This accelerated pathway includes the same content as a traditional three year undergraduate degree, but is taught over three trimesters rather than two semesters. This more intense mode of study means that you can complete your degree in a shorter period of time, so you can progress more quickly into work or further study.Learn key skills in areas such as valuation, development, investment and management.Develop knowledge of the economic, legal, technical and managerial aspects of property and real estate.<br><br>Collaboration is at the heart of the built environment profession and our property and real estate course combines theoretical knowledge with the application of professional skills and competencies.You will learn through a blend of academic study and project work. You will work with students from other related courses, mirroring the multidisciplinary, team-based approach of the modern construction and property industry.Year one will introduce you to the property and construction industry using a range of built environment modules. These include an overview of the regulatory framework, economics, the principles of valuation and appreciation of technology. You will also complete management modules and a multi-disciplinary project.Year two progresses your knowledge of commercial property leasing, property asset management, and property economics. You will be involved in further multi-disciplinary projects to enhance your collaborative working experience. Alongside modules in finance and investment, property development and regeneration, you will also complete a research dissertation.<br><br>With an extensive understanding of the property and real estate industry, you'll be well equipped to pursue a variety of roles, such as a property developer, a leasing agent or a property asset manager.<br><br>Our property and real estate graduates have gone on to work with national property organisations including CBRE, DTZ, Deloutte Real Estate and Savills.
