96 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent), preferably to include Drama, Performing Arts or a related subject.
3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
You may also be accepted to this course with an IELTS 5.5 (Academic level- with no individual score being lower than 5.5) or equivalent English Language qualification as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University, but will then be required to undertake additional compulsory free English language modules in your first year.
UCAS Tariff points acquired from BTEC Level 3 Diplomas in a related subject are accepted.
UCAS Tariff points from Access to HE Diplomas are accepted.
International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 24 points is accepted, this must include a related subject.
UCAS Tariff points from Scottish Advanced Highers are accepted.
UCAS Tariff points from Scottish Highers are accepted.
UCAS Tariff points from the Irish Leaving Certificate are accepted.
UCAS Tariff points acquired from the International Baccalaureate Certificate are accepted, related subjects are required.

Develop as a triple-threat performer who excels at singing, acting and dancing, with our BA (Hons) Musical Theatre degree course in Cambridge. As a Musical Theatre student at ARU, youll train with industry professionals, take part in showcases and productions from Year 1, and gain real-world experience.<br><br>On our BA (Hons) Musical Theatre degree you will gain skills unique to musical theatre training, specifically actor-musicianship, physical theatre, dance, and choreography. Your tutors will include established musical directors, artistic directors, and choreographers and youll learn in professional performing arts facilities including our Mumford Theatre.<br><br>With a buzzing creative scene, and opportunities to perform in renowned local venues, Cambridge is the perfect place to study Musical Theatre. You can even choose to study abroad for a semester, with funding on offer to help cover the cost. In your first year as a Musical Theatre student, you'll work on building foundational skills in ensemble singing, acting technique, and ballet and Jazz dance. This will culminate in your first musical production in the Covent Garden Theatre.<br><br>In Year 2, you'll continue to develop technical skills to a more advanced level whilst preparing to take on a week of performances in a fully realised book musical in our Mumford Theatre. Alongside this, you'll work through in-class performance assessments.<br><br>Studying with industry professionals, youll take part in three full-scale musical productions and a first-year skills showcase, culminating in a spectacular final year musical showcase. You'll also learn advanced audition techniques, produce your own showreel, and receive feedback from agents, as well as having the chance to take part in our musical theatre choir and a professional singing competition judged by industry pros.
