All applicants must meet the academic admission requirements for this course. The indicative or guaranteed ATAR is as published (where applicable) or academic admission requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:
AQF Cert IV,
Successfully completed 0.25 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent),
Undergraduate Certificate,
Special Tertiary Admissions Test,
University Preparation Course,
Indigenous University Orientation Course,
Aboriginal University Readiness Assessment, or
Experience Based Entry Scheme.
International Baccalaureate Diploma - Minimum of 24 points (Minimum of 28 points for Law), consisting of aggregate from 3 higher level & 3 subsidiary level
IELTS Academic Overall band minimum score of 6.0 (no individual band less than 6.0),
TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition - Minimum score of 70, with no individual score less than 17.
TOEFL paper-based test (PBT) - Minimum score of 550, including Test of Written English of 5 or better.

课程简介
Offers streams in classical, electronic, film, popular and jazz music, as well as sound art installation. The ethos of the composition program centres on practical learning through performance and collaboration. At every stage, students collaborate on projects in the dance, film, video, electronic arts, gaming and theatre departments. All students study recording, mixing, mastering and online networking, as well as comprehensive composition approaches for the 21st century. The Composer in Residence program provides access to a range of visiting artists and students are provided with opportunities to engage with industry throughout the course. In addition, all students are involved in the performance of electroacoustic music through the ECUatorial and Aletheia student ensembles, and are encouraged to work with music performance majors for the performance of their works.<br><br>Learning Outcomes<br>Undertake sustained, high-level independent practice in a chosen music specialisation with reference to its underlying principles and its relationship to history, society and culture.<br>Think critically to conceptualise and synthesise musical ideas to inform creative practice.<br>Think creatively to identity, analyse and resolve musical and conceptual problems.<br>Use digital technologies and music-related literacies skills to successfully assimilate and evaluate relevant information from multiple sources.<br>Communicate clearly and coherently in a range of modes relative to context and audience.<br>Adopt a global outlook and respect for cultural diversity, including an enhanced understanding of the music and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait peoples.<br>Adopt effective teamwork and leadership skills in various settings according to relevant standards of ethical conduct, sustainable practice and professional accountability.<br>Exercise self-reflection, judgement and responsibility in developing artistic practice and individual learning in response to diverse professional contexts.
