课程简介
与英语学院一起将您对戏剧的热情提升到一个新的水平
Take your passion for theatre to the next level with the School of English, Film, Theatre and Media Studies. The Theatre Programme will give you a strong grounding in practice-led research with key strengths in directing and devising methodologies. Delve into the art of Shakespearean performance, explore the theatre of Aotearoa New Zealand or engage in the realm of scenography using cutting edge technologies. Learn different theoretical and practical approaches to writing scripts for the theatre. Discover new techniques of directing or embark on your own research project in an area of theatre that interests you. The Theatre Programme offers special expertise in intercultural, indigenous and diasporic performance, sustainable scenography, Shakespearean performance, directing, and adaptation. Or look closer at playwriting and making, gender theory, performance in popular culture or youth theatre. Develop skills in independent and collaborative research while working with lecturers whose passion matches your own. You'll benefit from their experience in directing, designing, writing and performing—both in New Zealand and overseas.
