Fremantle Entry Requirements
Applicants with recent Secondary Education
Indicative ATAR of 70 with a score of 50+ in ATAR English, ATAR Literature or ATAR English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD)
OR
Minimum International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 24
OR
Completed AQF Certificate IV or higher in a relevant discipline, from an accredited provider such as TAFE or a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with a score of 50+ in ATAR English, ATAR Literature, or ATAR English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD).
Applicants with Higher Education Study
Other university studies completed at undergraduate level or higher, a minimum of 4 successfully completed subjects,
OR
Successful completion of the Notre Dame Tertiary Pathway Program or of another Enabling Program at a level deemed sufficient by the University,
Applicants who have successfully completed subjects at another University, which are relevant to the selected program of study, may be eligible for Advanced Standing.
Applicants with Vocational Education and Training (VET) study
Completed AQF Certificate IV or higher in a relevant discipline, from an accredited provider such as TAFE or a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
Applicants with Work and Life Experience
Applicants who left secondary education more than two years previously and who have not undertaken VET or higher education study since then, but with relevant work and life experience. Such experience may include, but is not limited to:
STAT scores of at least 135 in the Multiple Choice section and 140 in the Written English section are required
OR
Mature-age completion of two Year 12 WACE or HSC exams with a resulting ATAR of 70 or above.
Sydney Entry Requirements
Applicants with recent Secondary Education
HSC Performance Band Results with a Band 4 in English and a minimum average of Band 4s in HSC Category A Courses (or interstate equivalent). Applicants must be eligible for an ATAR or OP.
Minimum International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 25.
Applicants with Higher Education Study
Other university studies completed at undergraduate level or higher. Programs in Arts & Sciences and Business require a minimum of 2 successfully completed subjects. Programs in Education, Nursing, and Philosophy & Theology require a minimum of 4 successfully completed subjects, or
Successful completion of the Notre Dame Tertiary Pathway Program or of another Enabling Program at a level deemed sufficient by the University.
Applicants who have successfully completed subjects at another University, which are relevant to the selected program of study, may be eligible for Advanced Standing.

The University of Notre Dame Australia's Bachelor of Communications and Media with a Film & Screen Production Major is your ideal degree. The Film & Screen Production Major integrates theory and practice through an applied study of screen production to provide the creative and artistic tools necessary for your craft. You will take hands-on production classes that expand your knowledge in a collaborative environment. Our program is structured to guide you from introductory to advanced screen practices. We offer a range of courses to ensure a holistic knowledge of the craft of screen production. You will engage with multiple drama, documentary and interactive-based screen production forms. The Bachelor of Communications & Media with a Major in Film & Screen Production provides a creative context for your work. You will complete courses introducing you to cinematic history, different genres and movements, and critical traditions that inform contemporary screen production.<br><br>The employment opportunities for graduates are varied, with most going on to specialise in varying production roles. These roles are usually related to the camera, sound and post-production/editing. Graduates also take on roles as directors, writers, producers, social media content creators, editors, sound recordists, special effects supervisors, production managers, and videographers. Work Integrated Learning: when you study the Film & Screen Production Major, you will have the opportunity to complete an internship of approximately 90 hours that will allow you to put theory into practice in a workplace environment. This Major introduces you to leading academics, industry professionals and visiting alumni to assist you in building essential personal and industry networks.
