Prepare for a career in today's dynamic media landscape, taught by professional journalists with vast experience in newspapers, radio, television, magazine and online. Conduct your own interviews and vox-pops, Cover a range of real events including courts and council meetings. Produce tightly written work to deadline and word count, Learn media law and ethics, including industry codes of conduct and Integrate digital journalism into all your practical work. The course is suitable if you don't meet the entry requirements for our full degree course, or you'd like extra preparation before starting degree-level study. You'll learn with experienced practitioners and develop your interests. After completing your foundation year, you'll have the skills and knowledge you need, and progress directly onto the full degree, on which you'll create content for a variety of media platforms, using audio, photography and video.
