The following course-specific admission requirements are mandatory and must be satisfied by all applicants. These requirements are in addition to or supersede the minimum requirements outlined within the Academic admission requirements band section below.
All applicants are required to satisfy non-academic criteria, in addition to satisfying academic entry criteria. Applicants' non-academic capabilities will be assessed based on completion of a Non-Academic Requirements for Teacher Entry (NARTE) online questionnaire.

All applicants must meet the academic admission requirements for this course. The indicative or guaranteed ATAR is as published (where applicable) or academic admission requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:
AQF Cert IV,
Successfully completed 0.25 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent),
Undergraduate Certificate,
Special Tertiary Admissions Test,
University Preparation Course,
Indigenous University Orientation Course,
Aboriginal University Readiness Assessment, or
Experience Based Entry Scheme.
International Baccalaureate Diploma - Minimum of 24 points (Minimum of 28 points for Law), consisting of aggregate from 3 higher level & 3 subsidiary level
International students must attain an IELTS Academic with an average level of 7.5 or more, across the four components of listening, speaking, reading and writing, no score below level 7.0 in any of these components, and a score of 8.0 or more in the components of speaking and listening. Internationally schooled applicants may also be required to meet this requirement.

课程简介
让学生掌握教授7至12年级视觉艺术的技能和知识,并着重于视觉素养基础。重点还放在协作式教学过程中,同时承认个人创造性实践的重要性。该专业是为希望成为视觉艺术中学教师的学生而设计的,并允许毕业生也可以在K-6的背景下担任专业教师。毕业生将有资格在公立和非公立中学就业。未来可能的职务包括视觉艺术老师。
Equips students with the skills and knowledge to teach Years 7 to 12 Visual Arts, with an emphasis on visual literacy foundations. Emphasis is also placed upon collaborative teaching processes, whilst acknowledging the importance of individual creative practice.<br><br>Learning Outcomes<br>Apply broad discipline knowledge to a range of theoretical and practical visual arts education challenges.<br>Think critically to analyse, interpret and conceptualise complex visual arts learning experiences.<br>Think creatively to anticipate challenges and generate discipline specific responses.<br>Use digital technologies and literacies to access, evaluate and synthesise relevant information from multiple sources.<br>Communicate disciplinary knowledge and values in professional and public contexts.<br>Demonstrate global awareness and respect for cultural diversity, including Indigenous cultural competence.<br>Work collaboratively and demonstrate initiative to implement social, sustainable and ethical values.<br>Demonstrate autonomy, accountability and judgement for own learning and professional practice.
