Develop your own aesthetic within a strong studio culture, Gain skills in CAD, microelectronics, sustainable materials and 3D printing, Create unique jewellery centred around personal, cultural and societal narratives and Collaborate and prototype objects in a supportive and engaging environment. You'll develop a critical understanding and awareness of jewellery practices in the 21st century, while gaining real-world skills through applied projects and world-leading research. You'll create a distinctive portfolio of work that demonstrates your unique strengths to prospective employers in the jewellery industry, design and creative enterprise. All our courses are designed around a set of key principles based on engaging you with the world, collaborating with others, challenging you to think in new ways, and providing you with a supportive environment in which you can thrive. Throughout your studies, you'll build the confidence to develop your own individual voice and contribute to a strong studio culture. You'll learn through material experimentation, rigorous design processes and engagement with industry partners. You'll gain the theory, practice and methodology you need to independently organise, manage and carry out complex jewellery making. You'll also gain the confidence to use technology in the pursuit of innovative and creative solutions.
