In order to be considered for entry, applicants must have completed-
within the last 5 years, a Bachelor of Fine Arts or equivalent degree, with a weighted average mark of at least H2B (70%), or equivalent, with a major relevant to the discipline specialisation within the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Degree with Honours) that they seek to enter.
TOEFL Internet-based test- total score of at least 79 and scores of 21 for writing, 18 for speaking, 13 for reading and 13 for listening.
IELTS- total score of at least 6.5 in the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS), with no bands less than 6.0.

Visual Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music is a year-long program that allows you to undertake advanced work in the visual arts and further develop your capacity as a better informed, skilled and more articulate visual artist. With a focus on independently led studio practice, you will be expected to develop studio projects that require investigation and experimentation with a range of concepts, materials, techniques and processes. Critical and theoretical studies and professional arts practice skills subjects provide you with the skills to pursue the practice of a professional working artist, and allow you to critically engage in the debates of contemporary visual art. You will have opportunities to engage the wider public in your work with regular student exhibitions and the annual end-of-year exhibitions.
