Entry is based on Australian Year 12 equivalence. English language requirements must also be met.
You will need to meet both the Academic and English Language Requirements to gain admission into this course. Meeting academic requirements means we review what you have already studied to see if you have the results needed for admission to your preferred course.
To meet the entry requirements for this course you must have completed, at minimum, an Australian Year 12 qualification or overseas equivalent.
If you are admitted on this basis, you will be eligible for admission under standard entry.

Successful completion of an Australian Year 12 award with an ATAR acceptable to UNE in the year of admission (minimum scores for entry into each UNE course are available directly from UNE International), or
Successful completion of a recognised Foundation Studies program conducted by an Australian University or affiliate with a minimum score of 60% in all units including English.
An IELTS (Academic) overall score of at least 6.5, with a minimum sub-band of 6.5 for writing and no other sub-band less than 6.0,
TOEFL IBT score of 91 with no less than 22 in writing and no less than 20 in listening, speaking and reading.

Combined with a contemporary understanding of the theory and practice of law, the UNE Bachelor of Environmental ScienceBachelor of Laws will open the door to a wide range of evolving career opportunities. Our double degree provides you with a professionally accredited law degree with a comprehensive grounding in regional, national and global environmental science and natural resource issues. You will graduate with broad knowledge and technical skills to apply to a wide range of professions, and benefit from UNE’s specialist regional, rural and remote perspective in both fields.<br>The Bachelor of Environmental Science component of this double degree provides you with a program directly integrated to the protection and conservation of our regional, rural and national environment. It provides a strong scientific understanding of local to global environmental issues and their management, along with flexible opportunities to develop advanced scientific knowledge as well as field and laboratory skills related to ecological conservation, air, land, water, plant and wildlife management and protection. Throughout, you will engage and work with environmental practitioners, industry and regulators to solve the problems of today with innovative solutions whilst gaining the core attributes to be job ready in a wide range of careers.
