The LLM course is the result of research carried out by academics and lawyers at Teesside University to develop a programme focusing on the philosophical theories that underpin the law, and building on current perspectives in law. It focuses on the underlying legal theories that determine the scope of the existing law and proposals for changes to legislation and the common law.
