IB: 30 points or three Higher Level certificates with 555, including Standard Level Mathematics/Maths Studies grade 5, if not taken at Higher Level.
We are also happy to consider a combination of separate IB Diploma Programmes at both Higher and Standard Level. Please note that Maths in the IB is not required if you have already achieved GCSE Maths at grade B/5 or above or 5 in IB Middle Years Maths. Exact offer levels will vary depending on the range of subjects being taken at higher and standard level, and the course applied for. Please contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office for more information.
From 2021, we will accept grade 5 in either Standard Level Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches or Standard Level Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation.
Access to HE Diploma: 45 Level 3 credits at Merit or above, depending on subject studied - advice on acceptability can be provided.
T-levels: Distinction
IELTS - 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, TOEFL IBT - 76 overall, with a minimum of 18 in reading, 17 in listening, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing

You develop your abilities in economics and gain confidence in applying them to organisational management, as well as receiving expert training in quantitative research methods. Management economics gives you a valuable grounding in economics, with a particular focus on how companies work. We provide you with a greater understanding of the how firms operate, teaching you how resources are allocated within a company, why a company is structured in a particular way, and how these structures affect the overall economy.<br><br>Many employers want economists with critical thinking skills who can tackle large data sets and practical problems. Our course helps you to become more employable and takes you closer to that dream job or postgraduate course when you graduate.<br>Our students are in demand from a wide range of employers in a host of occupations, including financial analysis, management, public administration and accountancy.
