国际学生入学条件

Graduate Entry

Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree with a competitive GPA. International applicants will be required to complete two intensive foundation topics. These topics run for one week only prior to the start of first and second semesters. The study of the foundation topics will not incur a tuition fee.

Qualified Social Worker Entry

Applicants must normally hold a Bachelor of Social Work recognised by the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW) or equivalent. Applicants must have completed either an AASW-accredited Bachelor of Social Work Honours, or an AASW-accredited Bachelor of Social Work plus at least two years professional work experience (paid or volunteer) or equivalent.

The program teaches you to research, analyse and articulate a framework for inclusive and ethical professional social work practice. You will develop the skills to identify the cultural context of various approaches and their relevance to specific situations and populations, and to delineate the connections between interpersonal practice, social policy and research. Topics cover areas such as social work with diverse populations, complexities in work with children and families, mental health through the life course, and trauma and resilience. The Master of Social Work - Graduate Entry requires 2 years of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time). The course is offered by the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work.
