With a Master of Classical Studies (Advanced), you can explore the ancient Greek and Roman worlds - while enjoying some very modern travel. Experience the opportunity of a lifetime studying antiquity in Turkey and archaeology in Italy and Greece. Or closer to home, you can draw on the University’s expertise in language, literature and ancient history, and the wealth of resources in the ANU Classics Museum. As a graduate of the Master of Classical Studies (Advanced), you will be uniquely equipped to apply your perspective on the ancient world to your understanding of our world today. Students enter the Master of Classical Studies (Advanced) by transfer from the Master of Classical Studies.<br><br>Learning Outcomes<br>Speak and write with considerable authority on the language, history, literature, art or other aspects of Ancient Greek and Roman culture under study;<br>Think critically, analytically and at an advanced level about problems and issues in Classical world studies;<br>Research at a high level and communicate the results at near-professional level;<br>Read and understand basic texts in Latin andor Ancient Greek<br>Complete a major piece of research (24,000 words) in the field of Classical Studies.
