We are also happy to consider a combination of separate IB Diploma Programmes at both Higher and Standard Level. For courses with Counselling skills, please note that a satisfactory enhanced DBS check will be required prior to starting any placement(s) for this course. This will be organised by the University. A satisfactory Overseas Criminal Record Check/Local Police Certificate is also required, in addition to a DBS Check, where you have lived outside of the UK in the last 5 years for 6 months or more.

On this course you explore why individuals, groups, and cultures are the way they are whilst applying scientific methods and tools to examine the important questions that surround human society.<br>At Essex we explore what connects people with each other, as well as what divides them. We consider every aspect of our daily lives, from how we relate to politicians, celebrities and friends, to how we behave in similar or different ways to those who share our experiences and social location.
