Social science is concerned with the study of society and the relationship of individuals within society. This social science degree course will enable you to explore different perspectives in the social sciences such as criminology, sociology, psychology and social policy. You can tailor the degree to your interests and career aspirations giving you the freedom to specialise in a specific area of social science or to maintain a more general approach to your degree throughout. You will have the chance to undertake a placement in the local community which will provide you with real, practical and transferable skills as well as theoretical knowledge.
