Legal Studies and Politics at Aberdeen combines close examination of the world of law including topical and controversial issues with exploration of national, European and global politics taught by highly-regarded experts who regularly comment in the media on events unfolding in the world today. You wont be accredited to enter the legal profession in Scotland (or England), but you will gain valuable knowledge of legal systems and important academic qualities that are greatly valued by employers.<br>Among topics you can study are commercial law, Government and law, legal theory, European and international law, human rights, EU law, environmental law, criminology and criminal justice and Scottish legal history.
