A cutting-edge and intellectually demanding programme, the LLM in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice will equip you with an advanced knowledge and understanding of the key concepts and theories underpinning criminal law and criminal justice and how they operate in practice. The programme covers the following core areas:_x000D_ Current issues in criminal law and criminal justice_x000D_ Fundamental principles of substantive and procedural criminal law_x000D_ Criminalization_x000D_ International, transnational, and European criminal law_x000D_ Sexual offending_x000D_ Global crime and insecurity_x000D_ The penal process_x000D_ Different approaches to understanding and critiquing criminal law and criminal justice, including:_x000D_ doctrinal_x000D_ comparative_x000D_ theoretical_x000D_ socio-legal methods_x000D_ The programme is suitable for students who have studied law or a related subject at undergraduate level and wish to develop a specialist understanding of criminal law and criminal justice.
