5 GCSEs at grade D, or grade 3, or above and evidence of two years post-GCSE study at Level 3.
If you have achieved at least grade E in one A level, or equivalent, you are exempt from the two years post-GCSE study requirement, but you still must meet the GCSE requirements.
Applicants who do not meet the two years post GCSE study at level 3 may be considered based on their satisfactory employment history, which must be a minimum of two years full time employment supported by employer evidence and deemed appropriate by the University for meeting the course of study applied for.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 5.5 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.

On our British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited Psychology with Clinical Psychology degree course, youll learn the main principles of psychology and how theyre applied in healthcare settings.<br><br>Together, well explore the science behind what we do and who we are, with a strong focus on clinical and developmental psychology, mental health, and therapies and interventions. Youll also develop the scientific, analytical and research skills you need to become a psychologist. By studying psychology at ARU, youll immerse yourself in the science of mind and behaviour and take the first step towards a career as a chartered psychologist, or training as a clinical psychologist.<br><br>A psychologist is someone who has completed an undergraduate degree that is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), such as our BSc (Hons) Psychology with Clinical Psychology.<br><br>Psychologists may register with the BPS after graduation, and advance in their career through experience and further training. Psychologists tend to work with healthier individuals who are experiencing issues such as stress, low self-esteem, bereavement, or relationship difficulties. Alternatively, they could work in psychological research, or use their knowledge of psychology in industry settings.
