ABB-BBB including Biology and preferably another science subject (from Chemistry, Mathematics, Geography, Physics, PE, Psychology). General Studies excluded.Chemistry is preferred at A/AS Level but not essential. For Biology, Chemistry and Physics A Levels, we require a pass in the practical element.GCSE Mathematics (grade B or 5) required if not offered at A/AS Level.
International Baccalaureate
32 points including Biology at Higher Level grade 6. Chemistry preferred at Higher Level but not essential. Mathematics or Mathematical Studies and Chemistry required at Standard Level grade 5 if not offered at Higher Level.
IELTS - Applicants whose first language is not English require a minimum score of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent including 5.5 in each of the four elements of the test.
TOEFL iBT - 79 overall (with a minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking, and 17 in writing)

We place a particular emphasis on the scientific study of livestock and companion animals (including horses). You'll study subjects that reflect the whole life of an animal:<br><br>microbiology and biochemistry<br>animal health and behaviour<br>animal reproduction and nutrition<br>We bring your learning to life through extensive interaction with animals throughout your degree. You'll gain practical experience through regular visits to local animal centres and the University's two farms. You'll also enjoy input from professionals in the animal science industry.<br><br>Your third year group project to organise a conference on animal science equips you with marketable skills such as project management, organisation and teamworking.
